AncientComputer is an independent preservation project. Your support helps us restore rare machines, scan documentation at high resolution, maintain storage and servers, and make everything freely accessible to the community.
We welcome vintage computers, peripherals, boards, manuals, books, software, and magazines — working or not. Many of our most important artifacts came from people who simply didn’t want to see them thrown away.
Our Tindie store features small-batch hardware, adapters, PCBs, and tools designed for restoration and everyday use with classic systems. Every purchase supports new designs and preservation work.
We share visual highlights of the collection, restoration shots, and
curated boards. Following and saving pins helps more people discover
the project.
We publish 3D-printable parts such as brackets, cases, mounts, and
restoration helpers. Using, remixing, and sharing them supports the
ecosystem around vintage hardware.
We upload scans, manuals, and other materials to Archive.org so anyone
can access them freely. Views, favorites, and sharing improve
discoverability and justify further digitization efforts.
