Amiga Magazin

Amiga Magazin was a prominent German-language magazine dedicated to the Commodore Amiga computer series, published from 1987 until 1997. It was produced by Markt+Technik Verlag, a major publisher in the German computing press, and served as one of the most respected and technically rich Amiga publications in Europe during the platform’s prime.

The magazine catered to a wide range of users—from casual gamers to professional developers—offering in-depth software and hardware reviews, programming tutorials (often in C, Modula-2, or assembly), and coverage of topics like desktop publishing, music composition, 3D rendering, and system optimization. It featured regular columns on news, tips, tricks, and user Q&A, as well as insights into the growing Amiga demo scene and the latest utilities from both commercial and public domain developers.

A hallmark of Amiga Magazin was its professional tone and layout, making it popular not just with hobbyists but also with serious users who relied on the Amiga for work in graphic design, music production, and education.
